Sith Acolyte Helmet

This "Sith Acolyte" helmet is my painting of a kit sold to me from mynocksden.com. This is the "Eradicator/Lord Adraas" edition of the helmet, made from a Smooth-On resin, and cold-cast with aluminum powder. The black paint in the recessed areas comes from spraying the whole helmet black, then rubbing it down with an acetone soaked rag until the raised areas show clean. The dark grey paint on the forehead is a mix of black and grey acrylic paint, with the red in the front and back being a 50/50 mix of Testors Red and Black gloss enamel. The whole thing is held front to back with super-strong magnets, and a black eye-mesh to prevent outsiders from seeing in.
