Paper and Plastic

This may be one of my favorite methods for assembling and creating wearable pieces. Known as pepakura, this advanced paper folding is a relatively cheap way to create 3D forms from paper rather than printing with plastic. Using heavy card-stock and superglue (which doesn't get dissolved by the resin) you assemble it together and reinforce it with fiberglass.

Naturally, this means you should be careful, and you should take care of yourself, so respirators, protective equipment are a necessary expense. The final product however, makes it totally worth it.
